TEMPORARILY TAKEN OFF THE MARKET!
Tommy is ready to find a rider who shares a passion for fun and adventures!

He is a 12 y/o 15hh grade Appy gelding who is perfectly capable of filling up a rider’s leg. Tommy has a lovely way of going and rides nicely in front of the leg. If you appreciate sporty, uphill, and comfortable you will love him! He’s been in professional training since late Spring and we’ve found that he appreciates a rider who is confident, provides clear instruction, and has an independent seat and hand. His unique color and fun, loving personality has generated quite the fan club at the barn, but he does have a steadily forward way of going so is not for a timid rider or one who wants a kick ride.  He has lovely, light transitions and his lateral work is quite good. He works very well off of the rider’s seat and leg for both forward and half-halt. He has never balked or looked at a jump so I would say he’s quite brave in that respect. We’ve taken him cross-country schooling with no issue and he goes through water, up and down banks, and doesn’t care about ditches. He’s a little cross-country machine!

He does trail ride but walks with purpose so he's not going to plod along. He crosses water, will lead or follow and is quite brave. He would also suit for Endurance, Foxhunting, Dressage, Show Jumping and/or Eventing. Tommy has been jumping 2’6” in the arena and the jump field and has shown that he is athletic and capable.

He’s up to date on everything and though he came to us barefoot we decided to put front shoes on him since he was going to be in heavier work. He has really nice feet and I don’t see why he couldn’t go barefoot comfortably though. Tommy is super friendly and stands well for grooming, tacking, farrier, bathing, mounting and all of the other important things. He will also ground tie at the wash stall. He is rarely ever pushy and gets along amazingly with others in his field. Lives out 24/7 currently with no issues. No injuries or vices. We know his tail is needy but it has grown since we got him so we believe that it WILL continue to grow!

Ronnie

If you are looking for flashy and downright adorable, Ronnie is your guy! He’s a 15.2hh late 4 y/o Dutch Harness Horse Cross (possibly crossed with some draft). He’s been in a professional training program since January to learn the basics and gain confidence both on the ground and under saddle. He has shown that he is ready to find that special person who can continue his training to help him reach his full potential. He is a young horse and also had it rough at some point early on in life so he is only being offered to someone relaxed and patient who has lots of experience training young horses. Someone who also understands DHH’s would be ideal. Even though he can be suspicious of new people, Ronnie warms up quickly when cookies are involved! He is a total sweetheart and tries very hard to make his rider happy. He’s very food motivated and has responded brilliantly to positive reinforcement with training cookies. Ronnie initially had some fears surrounding mounting, which we took the time to work on and he will now stand quietly and confidently to be mounted. Because he is young, he is still working on finding balance, gaining strength and the ability to carry himself. He has a big trot and his canter is lovely and ground covering. He will ride in the indoor, outdoor arena, and in our grass dressage arena and jump field. He’s been getting a good Dressage foundation and, because he’s only 4, he has lightly jumped over some small fences in the arena and cross-country and he was both brave and showed athleticism. This guy has a lot of potential. I see him being very successful in the Dressage arena but he would also make a super little Event horse. He lives out 24/7 in a field with other young geldings and is playful but never mean or bossy. He’s barefoot and up to date on everything. He stands quietly to be groomed and is easy to tack up. He’d be perfect for someone experienced who is looking for a really nice horse to bring along.
