We are quickly and sadly outgrowing our current farm, but are happy to share that we have recently purchased a large 21 acre property which is only about 6 miles away and will house Heavenwood Farm as soon as it is set up and ready for horses. This is a huge project as the property is a blank slate and will require us to install all of the fencing and build the arenas and buildings. Once we are set up, we will be able to offer everything that we offer here at our current farm but we will also be able to offer boarding and in-house training. Boarding will be 24/7 turnout with run-in sheds in large pastures which is the healthiest and happiest way for a horse to live. We feed good, quality feed per each horse's individual feed requirements and provide ample hay along with pasture. Planned for this facility is a 64'x120' indoor arena which will offer all weather riding and a 75'x150' outdoor riding arena. There will also be areas to ride out if a pleasant ride outside of the arena is what you desire. All of this will be located in a quiet, but convenient area with beautiful views of farm fields and mountains. We will be able to accommodate 10-11 boarders and are currently filling a wait list. Board will start at $470/month and include two lessons with Steph. Additional lessons for boarders will be $35/hour. We are extremely excited about this new adventure and that we will be able to provide good, quality care for more than just our personal herd!
UPDATE: Our timeline has been a bit slowed as we are sorting out requirements with the Township. We are hoping to make some headway by November and if the weather holds out, we are planning to move ahead with getting the indoor and the fencing and sheds in so that we can accommodate horses by winter. Otherwise, we will have to hold out until Spring to begin work. We have received so many inquiries and interest for boarding and training and we are thrilled by that. We are so excited that we will be able to offer what so many barns in this area lack. Great, quality care with attention to detail in a family oriented atmosphere. We are currently taking contact information on a wait list and keeping those on the list updated with current timeline events. It seems as if boarding spots will fill very quickly once we're up and running. Please contact us if you would like more information or would like to be put on the wait list. We anxiously look forward to serving more of our equine community! Mike & Steph
